I went up to my dad's place today and it was the perfect opportunity to sketch some unsuspecting victims...errr..models on the subway ride up and down.
:) Now I wonder, why asking John M. and not these people? Why does it seem like the right thing to do?? Where's the trick...? Why do I ask so many silly questions...??? Whatever. Deal with me please... ;) Warm regards, Carolina
Hi Carolina. Well John M was my subject at the coffee shop I work and he's a regular so I think I have a connection with him...It'd be kind of rude not to, don't you think?
As for the subway people, I'll never see them again, so I'm not too concerned about permission. Plus I never knew how long they'd be on the train, so asking permission seemed odd for a "one stop" sketch.
Well, I'm not sure... I'm still in doubt about...err, nothing! Now I understand e-e-e. How did I miss about the connection thing? That's the 'trick' I was missing... thanks for being so thorough ^_^
Thanks Steven. You know, here in Toronto, there's a group that meets every Sunday, hops on the train and rides the rails for a few hours sketching, simply to sketch subway people. Maybe you could start something like that in your town?
