Another acrylic trial, this time in my sketchbook. I basically manhandled the acrylic paint for this spread. I'm looking forward to the day when I could lay down some acrylic on the first or second pass and make it look like the way I envisioned it in my mind.
My next big test is an acrylic painting I plan to do of the Rooster Cafe, the last cafe drawing I did, but this time on an 2x3 foot canvas. Frightening and exciting all at the same time!

ReplyDeleteI have the same problem, manhandling the paint, hopefully spontaneous fresh marks happen with time. These pictures look great, i would not be dissapointed with them! Love the fish.

Good one.. I like your backgrounds., (though the fish looks fabulous too, but I feel I can get slowed when I am doing the background!)
