sketchbook

Chipping away at the 10000 hours today after work at the Bloor Gladstone library.

Instead of the standard drawing of a person reading that I've drawn so many times before, I wanted to practice my perspective. I realized that my sense of proportion and perspective are a bit off so I think I'll concentrate on that for the next little while (hopefully). But I will sneak in a drawing or two of people.

So... besides my home "studio" and cafes, this is where I probably draw the most.

sketchbook

I was feeling slightly nauseous before I started sketching at the Bloor Gladstone Library after work today and after I finished this spread the nausea disappeared. Something was reaffirmed today: sketching is my meditation.

sketchbook 04/29/10

This spread consists of a series of people who I've drawn over a period of three days during my meal breaks at Starbucks.

A rainy day in Toronto = a few hours in a coffee shop sketching. Happy.
