Just started sketching in a smaller sized sketchbook. It's not the best quality of paper, but it definitely has given me a looser approach to sketching people. Possibly a combination of smaller spread size and cheap paper make my entries a lot looser and less anal. I like that.

Well, I really like them both! Uptight suggests something bad but I love those sketches, so I hope you don't give them up entirely!

thanks again for the encouraging comments. I won't give up the tighter style, but I would like to have the ability to be looser on command instead of it being a reaction to the type of medium I'm drawing on.
Really great sketches. I need to spend more time sketching real life things. I do alot of drawing from my head so I'm not too good yet at drawing reality ~ I guess you could say my heads in the clouds all the time! LOL.
