Sketchbook 24/06/09
Today was a blister. Apparently with humidity factored in, it reached 37 degrees centigrade. So I hunkered down in a place that would offer a bit of shade and as it happens it was the Music Gallery, a place I've sketched often and which had a covered arcade to sit under while drawing this. However, I didn't get a chance to finish it because I had to rush to aikido class.

Love the sketch, Wil! It is very hot here too, and I'm a wimp. The other day, our "feels-like" temp was 110 degrees F. That's just brutal if you ask me! (43 degrees C?)
First, Raena, thanks for the comments. secondly I almost wimped out in the middle of this. What you don't see in the sketch are the dried sweat marks imprinted on the page. ;-)
Yeah it's been foolishly humid here too for the past couple of days. It just makes me feel like I can't be bothered to do anything. You can obviously cope better than me by the look of this drawing though. Love the effect you've created for the tree.
As always Wil. Simply great sketch work
