sketchbook 04/09/09

I'm always interested and curious to see what other people's work space loosk like. So instead of taking a photo (I can't anyways because my camera is busted), i thought i'd draw my space where all the magic happens. Plus I didn't have a chance to sketch on site today, so i copped out with a home image. ;-)

My kind of spot! Books and books! Crap everywhere with focus on the magic! Great drawing, really get a sense of space - you do with the room what you do with on site scenes with people. As a married man, for me, neat is the rule (but be assured, it is not my rule). :) I am hoping to set up a studio space in my house in the coming months but haven't quite figured out how I will excise that pesky rule!

Hilarious, Dan. I guess that's one of the reasons why I'm not married. Bachelorhood suits me just fine...
When you do have your space set up, I'd like to see a drawing of it!

Great sketch. I mean, with sketches like this, who needs finished work? It takes some serious dedication to set about drawing such a scene. I applaud your hard work.

Sorry, I've been a lurker recently but still enjoying these amazing sketches - you're so prolific, I'm in awe!
