While waiting for the figure drawing class to start I had a coffee at the Tango Palace Coffee Company Cafe on Dundas East. Great little shop with a dark, wood paneled interior reminiscent Victorian interiors. Lots to draw and I'll be sure to get to figure drawing class a few hours earlier so i could sketch here again.

The last spread of my current sketchbook. A really quick sketch I did after Tango Palace and before figure drawing. I like it for some reason.

I love the details on these. The sign language, the broken candles, the dance steps on the sign. You've captured so much!
Love the dance steps on the wall and a classic candelabra seems like a great warm up for figure drawing. Nice!
Hi Wil!
I like both these drawings a lot, the first has lots of detail, which I like :), and love the metallic effect of the jars with all those well thought reflections, and then the last one, so simple but has it all (it's almost a Picasso!)
Best regards,
Carolina
Thanks, everyone.
Mark, the coffee shop was a perfect warm-up to the figure drawing class. Will have to repeat this routine again!
