Great sketches. Love the use of line. I've put faces all over pages and somehow they are not this artful. I noticed that everyone on the page (except Shaveena) is looking down, seem pensive, or thoughtful. This makes Shaveena, who is not, look particularly assertive. I think this could be an interesting technique to focus attention on an individual in a work.

I'm still working on incorporating more of this layering into my own sketchbook pages, but I'm afraid that more often than not I revert back to my old ways of having single drawings scattered about the page with no unity whatsoever! You do it so well!! And did you notice, while admiring my workspace, a certain drawing up on my bulletin board?? It is inspiration!

Love the way the faces merge into one another to create the double page spread, also the typography with there names is a great touch!
