Sketchbook


I tend to sketch my dad whenever I'm up visiting him. The morbid side of me thinks he won't be around for much longer so now's the chance to connect with him on paper. I'm really bad at remembering birthdays and ages, so I think he's 76. Maybe 77... but he doesn't look a day over 60...maybe, 61.

Phenomenal sketches. Better than ever. I'm just thankful I don't have Montreal ears! :) I seem to remember a post of yours quote a while ago when your father was very ill. I'm glad he's still around and doing well.

Fantastic drawings and layouts of each page... Im glad you can connect with your father, I like how you treasure those moments and how this will stay with you for good. I wish I had taken more time to draw my dad, he really had a great lines... and I loved his hands.
