Another acrylic trial, this time in my sketchbook. I basically manhandled the acrylic paint for this spread. I'm looking forward to the day when I could lay down some acrylic on the first or second pass and make it look like the way I envisioned it in my mind.
My next big test is an acrylic painting I plan to do of the Rooster Cafe, the last cafe drawing I did, but this time on an 2x3 foot canvas. Frightening and exciting all at the same time!

I have the same problem, manhandling the paint, hopefully spontaneous fresh marks happen with time. These pictures look great, i would not be dissapointed with them! Love the fish.

Good one.. I like your backgrounds., (though the fish looks fabulous too, but I feel I can get slowed when I am doing the background!)
